This year saw one of America’s largest families ripped apart as millions of viewers watched from the comfort of their couches. Season eight proved to be a rough one for American Idol. Following rumors of cat fighting between Paula and new judge Kara dioguardi, Ms. Abdul announced she was bailing on the show and Ellen took her spot. Now, we’re hearing Simon might be the next to go. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince owned the box office. The latest in the Potter series brought in 929 million dollars.
